Dry Falls State Park
Day 30
78.5 miles
1,128.5
I’ll be honest, I was not expecting the day we had. To keep the explanation simple, Eastern Washington is spectacular. When Rod first described it to us, I know we all were thinking “so were biking past a bunch of brown desert like rock and ground….great”. Well you have to see Dry Falls to believe it in way. What the glacial lake flooding did during the ice age is remarkable and a reminder of how much there is to see in our own country that reminds you of the power of our planet.
We stayed at Dry Falls State Park, got a good shower in, made some food and got some shut eye, but not before getting in our tents and minutes later having what Ryan called “a deer sized” raccoon start sniffing around our site.
